The country was at war, the situation was so chaotic that even women were

He took me to his room and there was my Lord, now everything made sense, 
the surname, the same way of commanding, the laugh and the smell. He was 
there, I froze, the general then ordered me to stop being an idiot and 
get on my knees at his brother's feet. I obeyed promptly, ecstatic at 
the possibility of belonging to him again.
